ScienceDaily reported today ( link ) on results of experimental research using medication approved for diabetes treatment to limit the long-term effects of traumatic brain injury.  While geared towards explosion-induced traumatic brain injury, this research may eventually have implications in the treatment of traumatic brain injury from a car accident.
